There are certain parameters which needs to set for installing Diyotta silently. These parameters are different for each type of installer. To check the list of parameters, just run the Diyotta installer with “- -help” switch. For example, if I want to check the parameters needed to install agent, I will run installer like below

                  ./Diyotta_Agent_4.1.0.3115.000_linux-x64_installer.run –help

This command will give me output with all parameter.

There are two ways to install Diyotta Components silently using parameters.

  1. Using optionfile: In this method, all the parameters are stored in a file (any text file), which needs to be provided as input to the installation command.

  1. Using command line input: In this method, all the parameters and its values are passed along with the installation command. For example, for installing controller, I can use below command:

./Diyotta_Controller_N.N.N.nnnn_linux-x64_installer.run –mode unattended –prefix (installation directory) –setup_type install –server_startup_port (port number) –server_shutdown_port (port number) –server_msg_port (port number) –diserver_protocol (tcp/http)–agntservicestart (port number) –agntservicestop (port number) –metadata_config_type (1/0- embedded or external) –metadata_type POSTGRES –metadata_server localhost –metadata_port_em (port number) –metadata_port (port number) –metadata_db_name direpdb –metadata_user_name (database user) –metadata_passwd (password) –metadata_passwd_em (metadata password) –metadata_repo_name_em DIREP –create_repo_flag_em (1/0 – creating repository) –create_repo_flag (1/0 – creating repository)
