The software components that make up Diyotta and their functioning are as follows

  • Diyotta Controller – This is the application server component. Performs the major roles of
    • Access/Session control
    • Run time code compilation and generation
    • Send instructions to Diyotta agents
    • Interact with Diyotta metadata
  • Diyotta Agent – The workers of Diyotta that receives the complied code from controller and executes them on the data platforms or submits requests to services for extracting/loading data
  • Message Broker – The communication infrastructure through which Diyotta controller and agent exchange information and instructions
  • Metadata Repository – RDBMS component that stores the metadata generated from user actions such as development, administration and scheduling
  • UI components – User facing modules for development, administering and scheduling – Studio, Monitor, Admin, Scheduler, Metaview
