RE: The offset value is applied as 0 during the execution when we are using the SCD load type for snowflake Target.
SCD Offset value doesn’t work as expected. The property value as per the definition is to specify the seconds to be reduced from start date for new change record and used as end date for the old record. I tried setting it to -86400 ( to go back a day before) as well as tried (-1) both doesn’t work and eff end date is 2020-08-31 instead of 2020-08-30. I think this offset is in number of days because script update statement uses EFF_END_DATE = dateadd(day,0, to_date(TFORM_1.scdStartCol)). However even if I provide -1 as offset script still has zero
EFF_END_DATE = dateadd(day,0, to_date(TFORM_1.scdStartCol)).
Every time when we define the OFFSET value in the SCD properties editor. The OFFSET value should be greater than 0 it cannot be less than or equal to 0. Due to negative and zero values defined in the OFFSET properties during the executions the value is replaced as 0 for both the negative and zero values defined in the offset properties window.
