To Stop and Abort the Job in Monitor from Activity Tab

We should select job when it is in Active state and click on Stop option to stop. With this operation job will not be stopped immediately, once execution completes, it will be stopped. We can see Status as ‘Stop’ in Monitor activity page and in Log.

For Aborting any job, select job when it is in Active state and click on Abort option. With this operation job aborts immediately. We can see status as ‘Aborted’ in Monitor activity page and in monitor log.

Abort and Stop options work for Active jobs only.
