How to create various roles in the Repository?
Role represents the privilege/access assign to the users. For listing the existing Roles, click the
Admin->Roles icon in the left pane of the dashboard. We can create roles by click on “New” icon in Roles page.
We need to enter the following details while creating the role
- Role Name: Specifies the name of the role being created
- Description: Specifies the description of the role being create
Assign Privileges: Specifies the list of privileges that are assigned to the role being created. To add the privileges we need to click the “add (+)” icon then all the available privileges will display in Assign privilege pop up window.
The following are the available privileges
- Studio Read
- Studio Write
- Studio Execute
- Monitor Read
- Monitor Execute
- Scheduler Read
- Scheduler Read
- Scheduler Execute
After selecting the privileges, we need to click the “Save” icon in roles page and we need to confirm the role we created displaying in Roles list page or not.
